NAHI Certified Real Estate Inspector #200475 – The National Association of Home Inspectors, Inc. (NAHI) was established in 1987 as a nonprofit association to promote and develop certified and licensed home inspectors in the professional home inspection industry. The mission of the National Association of Home Inspectors is to promote excellence and professionalism in the Home Inspection industry; to provide a home inspector standard of practice and a code of ethics for home inspectors in the USA. Our national home inspector association also educates its home inspector members and informs the public of the benefits and scope of a professional home inspection. NAHI Home Inspectors must meet strict membership requirements and are held to the highest Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics in the home inspector industry. NAHI Home Inspectors continue to build their knowledge each year by attending home inspector educational events.

The NAHI Certified Real Estate Inspector (CRI) program is a certification that is earned. The designation is given only to home inspectors who demonstrate their advanced knowledge of, and proficiency at, all aspects of a home inspection. In order to become a NAHI Certified Real Estate Inspector (CRI), one must pass the NAHI CRI Exam and complete 250 full, fee-paid inspections. In addition, NAHI CRI participants must maintain annual continuing education credits and undergo an annual review of completed home inspection reports to remain in the program.

FABI Registered Professional Inspector #0642 – Florida Association of Building Inspectors, Inc. has promoted professionalism in the industry through qualifying their members to assure the public’s confidence. Applicants to FABI must pass a written examination, have their inspection report reviewed and show proof of a required number of inspections in order to qualify for membership. They must also adhere to FABI’s Practice, Code and earn continuing education credits by attending regular seminars/workshops to maintain their membership and keep their proficiencies current.
